Hi everyone! I love the MTC! The spirit here is so strong and I love how everyone is here, united in serving the Lord and learning about languages, cultures, and the gospel! The food here is great and I love my companions! I was actually put into a trio so I have two companions! Their names are Elder Rees and Elder Sabey. They are so great! I'll send pictures. I love learning Korean too! I know so much vocabulary, just from talking to mom all these years, but it's hard for me to say things in the "honorific" way. I just need to learn a lot of grammar rules and the gospel vocabulary, then I'm all set! It'll come. All the Korean speaking missionaries are here for 9 weeks if they aren't fluent, so I'll probably be staying for 8 more weeks! I hope to be able to be a master of the language by then! I'll keep you updated.
I've learned so much about being humble and forgetting about myself this week! It's so important to think more about others and try to do what Jesus Christ would do.
Sorry for the short email! I don't have a lot of time, so I'll write more next P-day (Thursday)! Thanks to everyone who wrote to me this week! I'm doing great and I've never been more happy and exhausted and excited and all that good stuff. I love all of you!
Love, Elder Litster
(Sorry! There were pictures, but they didn't come through! Maybe they will be posted later if we can get them in the correct format!)
